Mexico SHG EP - Marachi - - Grainpro

Mexico

Description

Marachi is a captivating branded coffee that captures the essence of the Chiapas region’s coffee heritage. Nestled in the embrace of Mexico’s southern landscapes, the Chiapas region stands as a prominent hub for coffee cultivation. Its geographical location has an ideal climate and elevation for growing coffee beans. The region’s unique combination of fertile volcanic soil, ample rainfall, and varying altitudes creates an environment conducive to producing mild and sweet coffee with intricate flavor profiles. The passionate smallholder farmers who tend to these coffee plants are an integral part of Chiapas’ identity, employing traditional and sustainable practices that have been passed down through generations. Marachi coffee is known for its sweet orange-like acidity, dark chocolate, and hints of brown spice flavors.

SHG (Strictly High Grown), accounts for beans that are cultivated at altitudes of 1,300 M and above. This results in a slower maturation process that enhances flavor complexity.

EP (European Preparation), represents beans that are screen size 15+ and meticulously sorted and cleaned to ensure coffee is free from defects and impurities.
