Description
Fara Coffee is driven by five generations of tradition, experience, and unwavering dedication to coffee cultivation. Fara Coffee’s are farms owned and operated by the Farahani family. They produce exquisite shade-grown, hand-picked Arabica coffee from the lush Matagalpa rainforest in Nicaragua. Beyond the perfect cup, they are on a mission to be Nicaragua’s most eco-sensitive and socially responsible coffee fincas.
Through the Fara Foundation, they give back in four key ways: healthcare, food assistance, education, and eldercare. Every purchase of Fara Coffee supports these essential initiatives.
They proudly hold Rainforest Alliance certification to protect the environment, from soils to rivers, and uplift the lives of our workers and rural communities.
SHG (Strictly High Grown), accounts for beans that are cultivated at altitudes of 1,300 M and above. This results in a slower maturation process that enhances flavor complexity.
EP (European Preparation), represents beans that are screen size 15+ and meticulously sorted and cleaned to ensure coffee is free from defects and impurities.
