Description
Costa Rica’s tallest mountain, Cerro Chirripo (3,820 masl), borders the Perez Zeledon area to the northwest, with Panama at the southeast border. Irregular topography, pure abundant rivers and diverse ecosystems provide ideal conditions to produce unique coffees. Coffee is central to the region’s history, as it significantly contributed to the social and economic development, generating a culture of values and principles built on family union.
SHB (Strictly Hard Bean), accounts for beans that are cultivated at altitudes of 1,300 M and above. This results in a slower maturation process that enhances flavor complexity.
EP (European Preparation), represents beans that are screen size 15+ and meticulously sorted and cleaned to ensure coffee is free from defects and impurities.
