InterContinental Coffee Trading was established in January 2009 by Lisa Bagley and Tom O’Hallaron. The company works with green coffee producers and exporters and distributes to roasters in North America, Europe and Japan. With a combined 70 years of experience in coffee, finance, trading and risk management, we’ve built strong and long lasting relationships with coffee producers, exporters, importers and roasters worldwide. It has enabled us to create an innovative and modern day green coffee trading company providing superior service and delivering the finest coffee to our customers.
Our mission is to develop and build long term relationships with our suppliers and customers throughout the world so we can consistently source unique, interesting and high quality coffee for our clients while maintaining our promise of superior service.

Lisa Bagley
President
Lisa has spent the last 23 years in the coffee industry building and developing long lasting relationships with coffee producers, exporters, importers and roasters worldwide. In 1986, her career started with Farr Man Coffee Inc., in New York City. In 1988, she was hired by C.E. Bickford & Co. and became the firm’s first woman broker. After moving to California in 1995 she built Euro Latin Link Inc. Euro Latin Link was a successful green brokerage business that negotiated green coffee trades with a variety of exporters, importers and roasters in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan. The firm also did contractual work for the National Coffee Association, F. Gavina and Sons, Café Altura and Vournas Coffee Trading.
Jason Remmer
Director of Green Coffee Sales
Jason has been in the coffee and food service industry for 18 years. He spent the last 12 years in senior sales and trading positions with Coffee Bean International, Swiss Water Process Decaffeinated Coffee Co. Inc., and Coffee Holding Company Inc.
Brett Twente
Green Coffee Trader
Brett joined ICT in 2009 after five years in the financial services industry. After graduating from Clemson University, where he played division one tennis, Brett developed strong sales skills in the financial services industry. In addition to his sales roles at ICT, Brett manages our web development and many of ICT’s marketing efforts.
Dave Bacon
Green Coffee Trader
Dave has over fifteen years of experience in the coffee industry working for two well known roasters in Southern California – The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Café Bravo. He has extensive experience roasting, cupping, business development, infrastructure and sales.
Tom O’Hallaron, CFA
Managing Partner
Tom has 17 years experience building successful capital markets trading desks with products backed by commercial real estate, residential mortgages, GSE and bank debt as well as equity derivatives. Tom was most recently Executive Vice President at Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance. Tom is a CFA and holds series 24, 7, and 63 licenses. He is excited to combine his experience in finance and trading with Lisa’s extensive green coffee background to start InterContinental Coffee Trading.
